This charming small hotel was run by the affable and pleasant staff. The comfort queen room we stayed in was good-sized with good bathroom. The best part of our fine stay was the excellent breakfast with cakes and plentiful food and savory options.

The location of the hotel is excellent, it's right on the Place Bellecour. Very good proximity to all monuments in the city.
In general, price vs, value was not very good. Even though we booked the better room, the room was very small, and there was a problem with the shower. When the toillet was flushed, it bubbles from the siphon in the shower. It was unpleasant. On the other side, room was nicely decorated and everything was new.

The charming 1920s-style decor gave the place a unique vibe, and the homemade breakfast treats were delicious. Just a heads-up, parking can be tricky, but the location is perfect for exploring Lyons!

We picked the hotel as it provided a room for 5 (family with 3 children 6,8,10) located centrally in Lyon with parking. The beds were very comfortable, good shower/bathroom, good breakfast (a little expensive as no child discount) and great location to explore central Lyon. Our room had been recently refurbished. Staff very helpful.
Be aware that this is not a modern generic hotel. Our room was out the back, through the kitchen and up and down some stairs with no external windows. The kids deemed the room "cool" on arrival. If you expect modern reception with lifts and generic rooms/furnishings then you're in the wrong place.

We took the Deluxe bedroom and it was so elegant; we loved everything from the trendy / mystique Parisian wallpaper, modern chandelier, high ceiling, marble fireplace and such a comfy bed. The room was spotless. The bed room and the bathroom were all brand new. We also had the direct view on Place Bellecour and its giant ferris wheel. Highly recommended for other travelers.
The wall is thin to very thin.

I chose one of the charming rooms. Despite its very central location, the hotel is amazingly quiet. The reception staff is very nice and the cleaning personnel showed a lot of discretion. Although I left the room very late on my first day, they did not disturb me and cleaned the room after I left. The room looked like a small apartment and the view on Place de Bellecour was great. A charming room, indeed! Given its excellent location, it is very close to the main tourist attractions and it is also perfect for shopping. The metro station is also just across the street. All in all, very good value for money!
The only weaknesses that I found were that, on my arrival, the room was not ready until 2 p.m. and the fact that the shower cabin did not have a door, which made some water splashing on the bathroom floor. Also, if you have heavy luggage, you should consider the fact that the hotel does not have any lift.

We did not expect to get that kind of service in such kind of hotel. Good location: close to shops, to the old city, metro station and railway station Perrash.

The location is fantastic for families, right in the heart of Lyon! We could easily walk to popular attractions and great places to eat. The kids especially loved the excellent breakfast with homemade treats. The staff was friendly, always making us feel welcomed.
My wife says that another coffee option would be great.
